Artist’s Story

Come home to the stars with Follow Me by Carla Meeske. This nightscape captures the Big Dipper, above a forest path in Greer, Arizona. It evokes the magic of childhood, when this heart of the Bear constellation showed us how to find the North Star, Polaris. With that we can find our way on Earth, and chart the constellation in the sky. Ethereal green and purple airglow paint the White Mountains sky, turning the night into a living dream. The Big Dipper’s familiar spirit points the way, whispering the secrets of navigating earth, the cosmos and our own lives.
