Artist’s Story

Nothing compares to the light in Yosemite shining off of the barren granite domes. Under a bright moon, the mountains become otherworldly. Iconic Half Dome with, a hiker at its base, shimmers under the moonlight. After capturing this foreground I came back when the moon had set and captured the sky with my very finest lens. Blending them together it’s as though the Earth were in outer space.
