The San Francisco Peaks (Dookʼoʼoosłííd) are sacred to all the native people of the area, holding the direction of the west for the Navajo and the Southwest for the Hopi. They hold power that brings magic and wisdom into our all our lives. A single Ponderosa Pine stands in tribute to their majesty. I have a mission to photograph the sacred mountains with important Navajo contellations above them, and share them with my Diné friends. on the Navajo Nation
